Первый виниловый релиз краснодарского проекта Modul на Level Records (Duesseldorf, Germany).


Russia's minimal techno traditionally sounded different from its western european and american counterparts. Modul's new 12" "Pioneers EP" for the Duesseldorf-based Level Records imprint lacks american minimal's invincibility and straightforwardness as much as the nerdy, druggy or avantgarde-borne quirkyness many european interpretations of techno show. Modul substitutes these prominent attributes with a baroque synthetical deepness fueled by slick, modern beat skeletons and in doing so makes a welcome addition instead of a counterdraft.
